Welcoming to the Firm: Alexa-Rae Gist
Bonds Ellis Eppich Schafer Jones LLP is pleased to welcome transactional associate Alexa-Rae Gist. In joining the firm, Alexa-Rae adds depth and support to the corporate, bankruptcy, and employment practice groups, strengthening the firm’s ability to assist growing businesses and institutional clients.
Alexa-Rae was born and raised in West Texas. She began her legal career at Cotton Bledsoe in Midland, representing primarily Texas and New Mexico companies across various industries, but with a particular emphasis in the oil and gas sector. Her practice focuses on corporate and transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, entity structuring/reorganizations, corporate governance, employment, and general business advice.
She earned her J.D. from the Texas Tech University School (magna cum laude) and received her B.B.S in Political Science from Hardin-Simmons University (summa cum laude). She is a member of the State Bar of Texas and the State Bar of New Mexico.
