Cash Barker
ASSOCIATECASH BARKER has worked to develop his practice to encompass a broad spectrum of legal services including oil & gas, complex construction matters, high-stakes commercial litigation, as well as commercial and real estate transactions.
Cash’s litigation experience includes representing oil & gas companies, operators, and contractors regarding disputes involving royalty payments, surface use, and contract and collection matters. Additionally, Cash has represented general contractors and subcontractors regarding complex construction defects and a variety of contract and collection disputes.
Cash’s transactional expertise includes company acquisitions and divestitures, real estate acquisitions and dispositions, entity formation, and strategic commercial agreements. Cash leverages his diverse experience to provide comprehensive legal solutions for his clients across multiple industries.
Cash joined the firm’s Fort Worth office in 2024. Prior to this, he worked for one of the oldest Texas-based firms where he represented companies in the oil & gas, construction, and real estate industries on a variety of litigation and transactional matters. Cash has been recognized as a Top Attorney by Fort Worth Magazine in 2021, 2022, and 2023.
Cash served as the Symposium Editor of the Texas A&M Law Review and as a student-attorney in the Texas A&M Entrepreneurship Law Clinic. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Agricultural and Applied Economics from Texas Tech University.
Cash is active in several professional organizations, including the Tarrant County Bar Association, the Construction and Real Estate Probate and Trust Sections of the Texas State Bar, and the Eldon B. Mahon American Inn of Court. He has also served as a research fellow for the National Agricultural Law Center and has been published in the National Agricultural Law Center.
Outside the office, Cash enjoys spending time with his family, sports, and outdoor activities. Additionally, Cash volunteers as an attorney for the Tarrant County Women’s Center legal clinic.
