Adam P. Simmons

SENIOR ASSOCIATE

ADAM P. SIMMONS' current practice areas include civil and commercial litigation, construction, oil and gas, personal injury, and business disputes.

Adam was born and raised in Mexia, Texas, but he now calls Fort Worth home. Adam started his career as a Certified Public Accountant with a Big Four accounting firm in Dallas for four years before attending law school. Adam still holds his CPA license with the State of Texas. Now he uses that experience to aid clients in financial matters, damage models, and other commercial disputes, focusing on civil litigation, construction, oil and gas, personal injury, and business law.

Adam joined the Firm’s Fort Worth office in 2023. Adam began his legal career at another highly recognized law firm in Fort Worth, where he was named as a Top Attorney by Fort Worth Magazine in Civil Litigation for years 2014 – 2019, and 360 West Magazine, in Civil and Commercial Litigation for years 2017 – 2019. After several years of practice, Adam moved to Austin in 2019 and joined a large Texas law firm, where he gathered significant hands-on trial experience in personal injury and construction matters before returning back to Fort Worth.

In law school, Adam interned with the Honorable Paul Green of the Supreme Court of Texas and the Honorable Sandee Bryan Marion of the Texas Fourth Court of Appeals.

Adam has served on various boards of directors, including Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association Treasurer and Chair of the Finance Committee for Tarrant County Meal on Wheels. Adam volunteers with Texas Lawyers for Texas Veterans at veterans’ clinics and previously served on the Tarrant County TLTV board. Adam is currently a member of several industry organizations, including the Tarrant County Bar Association, Tarrant County Young Lawyers Association, the Texas Association of Defense Counsel, and the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants. He was formerly a member of the Austin Bar and Austin Young Lawyers Association.

Adam enjoys playing and watching all types of sports, attending concerts, and relaxing on a patio. He is an avid Longhorns fan and enjoys cheering them on at various University of Texas athletic events. Adam also enjoys traveling with family and friends.
