Julia Gurney Hood

Julia’s practice focuses primarily on commercial litigation.

Prior to joining Bonds Ellis, Julia practiced business and commercial litigation, as well as white-collar defense, for a national law firm based in Texas.

During law school, Julia was on the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law, served as a law professor’s research assistant for a paper on copyright law,
and conducted research for a Fort Worth based oil and gas firm.

Outside of the office, Julia enjoys reading and cheering on the TCU Horned Frogs, but mostly Julia loves spending time with her husband, their two large
dogs and cat, and the occasional foster pet.
