Aaron M. Guerrero focuses his practice on representing creditors, trustees, liquidating trustees and creditors’ committees in bankruptcies, restructurings and associated litigation.

More recently, his practice has also routinely included advising clients on general corporate and transactional matters.

Mr. Guerrero has represented creditors’ committees in small and complex Chapter 11 bankruptcy reorganizations, mostly in the oil and gas industry. His experience includes representing the interests of general unsecured creditors in bankruptcy proceeding, including the negotiation and drafting of plans of reorganization and liquidation. Mr. Guerrero has representing trustees and post-confirmation liquidating trust pursuing the return of assets to the bankruptcy estate, avoidance actions and claims objection litigation. He also represents creditors in defending avoidance actions and claim objections.

Mr. Guerrero’s transactional experience includes negotiating and drafting transactional documents in complex equity and asset-sale transactions. He also advises his clients on corporate governance, purchase and sale agreements, confidentiality agreements and other corporate and transactional matters.
